Narayan Khadka, Foreign Minister leaving for Turkey today

Narayan Khadka, Nepal’s Foreign Minister is departing for Turkey today for a week-long visit.

At the invitation of his Turkish counterpart, Mevlut Cavusoglu, he is leading a three-member delegation.

Minister Narayan Khadka will lead a delegation to the Antalya Diplomacy Forum, which will take place from March 11 to March 13. The event, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, will bring together politicians, diplomats, and policymakers from all over the world, including South Asia, to discuss current regional and international issues and their solutions.

Minister Khadka is scheduled to meet with his counterparts as well as other high-level officials while in Turkey.

The Foreign Minister’s visit, which coincides with the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Nepal and Turkey, is expected to be fruitful in terms of deepening bilateral relations.

The visit is also expected to boost bilateral trade, investment, tourism, foreign employment, and people-to-people contacts.
