Nepal Covid-19 cases: The country has seen an alarming increase in coronavirus cases, with 1167 reported in the last 24 hours.
According to the Ministry of Health, 224 persons have recovered from coronavirus in the last 24 hours. The RT-PCR approach found 841 of the 1167 confirmed cases, while the antigen method detected 326.
Similarly, there have been 491 instances in Kathmandu, 25 in Bhaktapur, and 99 in Lalitpur in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of cases in the valley to 615.
Two coronavirus-related deaths have been reported in the last 24 hours, according to the Ministry of Health and Population. With this, the country’s COVID-19 death toll has now reached 11,604 people.
As of Sunday, Nepal had 6,755 active coronavirus cases.
