Nepal COVID-19 cases: The country registered 1,446 new cases of coronavirus, an alarming increase in virus transmission in recent months, with 255 affected people recovering in the last 24 hours.
The RT-PCR approach revealed 1,357 confirmed cases, while the antigen method detected 89.
Similarly, 675 instances have been reported in Kathmandu, 65 in Bhaktapur, and 136 in Lalitpur in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of cases in the valley to 876.
Two coronavirus-related deaths have been reported in the last 24 hours, according to the Ministry of Health and Population. With this, the country’s COVID-19 death toll stands at 11,606 as of today.
As of Monday, there were 7,855 active coronavirus cases in Nepal.
