Nepal reports highest covid-19 causaulties, 58 fatalities recorded

In the last 24 hours, 58 COVID-19 patients have officially died as a result of the coronavirus pandemic.

The recent deaths bring the country’s death toll to 3,475 as of Wednesday afternoon, according to the Ministry of Health and Population.

Meanwhile, in the last 24 hours, Nepal has reported a total of 8,659 new cases of coronavirus infection.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 8,605 people tested positive for COVID-19 using the RT-PCR system, while 54 were positive using the Antigen method.

The Ministry reports that 2,849 people in Kathmandu, 518 in Lalitpur, and 458 in Bhaktapur have tested positive for the pandemic virus.
