Nepal, which played the final of the SAFF Championship for the first time, has lost to India. Nepal vs India Final

India defeated Nepal 3-0 to win the title.

Nepal was limited to runners-up.

The first half of the final ended in a draw on Saturday in Male, the capital of the Maldives. But early in the second half, India scored two goals in a row. Sunil Chhetri scored in the 49th minute of the match while Suresh Singh Wangjam doubled India’s lead.

In the injury time of the game, Sahal Abdul Samad secured the title for India by scoring a goal.

Dominating Nepal, India had attacked the Nepali post 19 times, eight of which were in the right direction. Nepal had attacked the Indian post a total of six times during the entire game and only one of them was in the right direction.
