In the last 24 hours, Nepal has seen a total of 6,714 new cases of coronavirus infection.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 6,677 people have tested positive for COVID-19 using the RT-PCR method, and 37 using the Antigen approach.
According to the Ministry, 1,139 people have tested positive for the pandemic virus in Kathmandu, 241 in Lalitpur, and 113 in Bhaktapur, bringing the total number of additional coronavirus cases in the capital valley to 1,493.
In the meantime, 6,716 people have returned home after recovering completely from COVID-19.
COVID-19 has claimed the lives of 145 persons in the last 24 hours, according to the Ministry.
