As the corona infection rate is seven times higher in Nepal than in India, experts say that the infection cannot be prevented and controlled by looking at the Indian strategy. 

He says the risk situation is not the same in India as many have been vaccinated against corona.

In the past, strategies were formulated in Nepal based on the status, impact and complexity of the infection in India, but now it is not appropriate to do so. GD Thakur said.

According to the Indian Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, the infection rate of covid was 2.94 percent on Monday. The infection rate is 96.80 percent. 

In Nepal, the infection rate of PCR test on Monday is 22.69 percent. The recovery rate of the infected is 92.6 percent.

The transition rate in Nepal is around 20 percent per week. In India, the positivity rate this year is 2.81 percent.

 India has vaccinated more than 20 percent of its citizens. India claims victory over the US in vaccination According to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare of India, 323.663 million 297 vaccines have been administered there.

In the United States, 323.33 million vaccines have been administered. Last Sunday, 64.25 lakh vaccines were given in India in 24 hours.

 Former Director of Epidemiology and Disease Control Division of the Ministry of Health and member of the National Immunization Advisory Committee, Dr. GD Thakur said, “We do not see any relief from the positive situation in India. 

The majority of people in Nepal have not been vaccinated, so there could be huge losses.
