In the last 24 hours, Nepal has seen a total of 4,472 new cases of coronavirus infection.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 3,370 people tested positive for COVID-19 using the RT-PCR method, while 1,102 used the Antigen method.
According to the Ministry, 790 people have tested positive for the pandemic virus in Kathmandu, 190 in Lalitpur, and 135 in Bhaktapur, bringing the total number of fresh coronavirus cases in the capital valley to 1,115 in the last 24 hours.
COVID-19 has claimed the lives of 92 people in the last 24 hours, according to the Ministry.
In the meantime, 6,951 people have returned home after recovering completely from COVID-19.
