In the previous 24 hours, Nepal registered a total of 6,951 new cases of coronavirus infection.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 6,855 people tested positive for COVID-19 using the RT-PCR method, whereas 96 tested positive using the antigen approach.
According to the Ministry, 96 people have died as a result of COVID-19 in the last 24 hours.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the fresh deaths bring the country’s death toll to 7,047 as of Friday afternoon.
Meanwhile, 9,841 people have returned home after fully recovering from COVID-19.
