Nepal receives medical assistance from the UAE, including 150 ventilators

Nepal has received medical assistance from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in the fight against the coronavirus pandemic.

A special plane delivered the medical supplies to Kathmandu Airport on Wednesday morning.

The UAE has provided 150 ventilators, 150 trolleys, 318,600 masks, 9,000 coveralls, 15,000 gowns, and 20,000 goggles, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The materials were handed over to a Ministry of Health representative.
