In the last 24 hours, Nepal has seen a total of 4,369 new cases of coronavirus infection.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 3,702 people tested positive for COVID-19 using the RT-PCR method, whereas 667 used the Antigen approach.

According to the Ministry, 804 people in Kathmandu, 176 in Lalitpur, and 113 in Bhaktapur have tested positive for the pandemic virus in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of new coronavirus cases in the capital valley to 1,093.

COVID-19 has claimed the lives of 109 persons in the last 24 hours, according to the Ministry.

In the meantime, 6,205 people have returned home after recovering completely from COVID-19.
