Nepal reports 2,636 new Covid-19 infections and 20 deaths on June 29

Covid-19 infection has been confirmed in 2,636 people in the last 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, PCR tests were performed on 7,259 people, 1,728 and 4,489 antigen tests, 908 and 2,636 people were infected.

Of the 11,640 people tested on Monday, 2,444 were found to be infected, while 11,748 were tested on Tuesday and about 200 more were infected.

In the last 24 hours, 4,348 people have been infected with the corona. Similarly, 20 people have died due to corona infection.

Currently, the number of active infected people in the country is 35,310.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 302 cases of corona have been reported in Kathmandu, 155 in Chitwan, 150 in Jhapa, 138 in Sunsari, 100 in Lalitpur, 90 in Morang, 70 in Baglung, 61 in Kaski, 56 in Bhaktapur and 51 in Rupandehi.

49 in Bardiya, 41 in Nawalparasi East, 38 in Kailali, 37 in Nuwakot, 26 in Palpa, 24 in Kavrepalanchok, 19 in Dang, 16/16 in Dhankuta and Makwanpur, 15/15 in Dailekh and Humla and Kanchanpur, 14/14 in Bara, Dhading and Surkhet. According to the ministry, 12/12 people in Dolakha, Arghakhanchi and Mugu, 11/11 people in Dhanusha and Nawalparasi and 10/10 people in Siraha, Myagdi and Banke have been confirmed to have corona infection.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 53 children under the age of 10 have been infected with corona and 115 in the age group of 11 to 20 years.
