In the last 24 hours, Nepal reports 5,153 new COVID-19 cases, with 108 deaths

In the last 24 hours, Nepal has recorded a total of 5,153 new cases of coronavirus infection.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 3,870 people tested positive for COVID-19 using the RT-PCR method, while 1,283 used the Antigen method.

According to the Ministry, 836 people have tested positive for the pandemic virus in Kathmandu, 269 in Lalitpur, and 121 in Bhaktapur, bringing the total number of fresh coronavirus cases in the capital valley to 1,226 in the last 24 hours.

COVID-19 has claimed the lives of 108 people in the last 24 hours, according to the Ministry.

In the meantime, 6,570 people have returned home after recovering completely from COVID-19.
