Nepal Reports 805 new Covid-19 cases, 8 deaths today

The covid-19 infection has been confirmed in 805 people across the country in the last 24 hours. 

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 667 people tested positive for PCR in 7,264 samples and 138 tested positive for antigen in 3,408 samples.

In the last 24 hours, eight people have died and 911 have recovered from the corona infection. With the new additions, the total number of corona infections in Nepal has reached 893,072. Of them, 11,200 people have died from the corona infection so far and 773,140 have been cleared of the infection.







Of the actively infected people across the country, 14,728 are in home isolation. Similarly, 1,214 people are in institutional isolation. Of the Covid-19 patients, 329 are being treated in the ICU and 112 in the ventilator, the ministry said.

Of the infected people added in the last 24 hours, 294 are from Kathmandu Valley. Of them, 207 are from Kathmandu, 53 from Lalitpur, and 34 from Bhaktapur.

According to the ministry, 136 people have been infected in Province 1, 11 in Province 2, and 335 in Bagmati. Similarly, corona infection has been confirmed in 88 cases in Gandaki, 64 in Lumbini, 16 in Karnali, and another 17 in the far western region.
