The 1.5 million doses of vaccine provided by the United States to Nepal under the Covacuation Program will arrive in Kathmandu this week.
Government officials have confirmed that the vaccine will arrive next Monday.
Anna Richelin, a spokeswoman for the US Embassy in Kathmandu, also confirmed that the vaccine was coming.

The government recently signed an agreement with Chinese company Sinopharm to buy 4 million doses of the Vero cell vaccine.

2 million will arrive by 23 July.
