Nepal vs India Final

Nepal vs India Final Match of ongoing SAFF Championship Football 2021 in the Maldives is going to be held on Saturday evening.

The Nepal football team is set to face archrival India in the final of the ongoing SAFF Championship. Nepal has made it to the regional tournament finals for the first time.

Nepal drew 1-1 with Bangladesh in their final league-round match on Wednesday in Male, Maldives, adding one point to their scoreboard and opening the door to the final. Similarly, India defeated the hosts 3-1 in their previous match.

Anjan Bista scored in the 88th minute of the Nepal-Bangladesh match, taking advantage of a penalty opportunity, to save the Nepal football team from defeat.

India earned eight points and Nepal earned seven points from four matches in the five-team event. They will now play the final on Saturday at 8:45 p.m. Nepal time.

This Sunday, India defeated Nepal 0-1 in a league-round match between the two countries.

Because Nepal’s football team had never reached the tournament’s final, the game itself will be a historic achievement, regardless of the outcome.

Nepal, on the other hand, is hoping for a win because it will be the final match for the team’s ambitious coach Abdullah Al Mutairi.

During the post-match conference on Wednesday, Al Mutairi reiterated his intention to leave Nepal football after the final.
