Nepali cricket team starts World Cup Cricket League-2 training

The Nepali Cricket team has started closed-door training for the one-day triangular series against Nepal, USA and Oman under the ICC World Cup Cricket League-2 from today.

The Nepal Cricket Association (NCA) has invited 19 players for closed-door training for the series to be held in Oman in September. According to CAN, the team’s training has started at the Tribhuvan International Stadium in Kirtipur.

Gulshan Jha is among the 19 players invited by CAN for the first time. Nepal Police Club player Gulshan had an excellent performance in the Mayers Cup Cricket.

Nepal has played four games in League-2 so far. Nepal has won two games and lost two games. Nepal is in the sixth place with four points.

Similarly, Oman, which has played ten games, is at the top of the league with 16 points. The United States is in second place with 12 points from 12 games.

Gyanendra Malla, Kushal Bhurtel, Arif Sheikh, Dipendra Singh Airy, Ashif Sheikh, Gulshan Jha, Kushal Malla, Binod Bhandari, Karan KC, Sandeep Lamichhane and Sompal Kami are in closed training.

Similarly, Kamal Singh Airy, Avinash Bohara, Shahab Alam, Sushan Bhari, Sharad Bheswakar, Vikram Shob, Pawan Sarraf and Rohit Kumar Poudel are also present.
