NEPSE index in Nepal drops by 29.89 points Wednesday

On Wednesday, shares on the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) fell by 29.89 points.

In the secondary market today, Rs 1.49 billion changed hands as 41,82,369 shares of 229 different businesses changed hands 30,602 times.

Twenty firms out of the 173 that traded on Wednesday saw their share prices rise, while the prices of three others stayed stable. Today, every category turned red. Two percent of this total was lost in the sectors of trade, investments, life insurance, hydropower, and finance.

Andhikhola and CYC microfinance stocks have increased by more than 9 percent.

Balefi Hydro, Life Insurance Corporation also had an 8% drop in its share price.
