NEPSE falls by 6.47 points despite higher trades yesterday


The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) is down 6.47 points.

With today’s drop, the index has dropped to 2816.60 points.

The Sensitive Index, which tracks the trading activity of Class A companies, fell 4.51 points to 533.99 points.

The transaction value, which surpassed Rs 13 billion on Monday, was slightly lower on Tuesday.

A total of 2,34,65,675 shares from 219 companies were traded 112,148 times, resulting in a Rs. 11.13 billion turnover.

The final price of Barun Hydro increased by 44 per share to Rs 486, Mountain Hydro increased by 34 per share to Rs 379, Universal Power increased by 25 per share to Rs 279, and Ghalemdi Hydro increased by 22 per share to Rs 247.

Similarly, Multipurpose Finance Company investors have lost the most, while Arun Kabeli Power Company investors have lost the most in terms of turnover.
