NEPSE tumbles by 11.68 points despite record-breaking higher trades

On Tuesday, the third trading day of the week, the Nepal Stock Exchange Ltd (NEPSE) fell 11.68 points.

The index has dropped to 2771.15 points as a result of today’s drop.

Similarly, the Sensitive Index fell 3.39 points to 496.86 points.

The development bank, life insurance, and other indices all rose today, while the mutual fund, microfinance, non-life insurance, hydropower, hotels and tourism, trade, manufacturing and processing, and investment finance indices all fell.

On Tuesday, 197.83 million shares of 216 companies were bought and sold, resulting in a Rs 8.59 billion turnover. The market’s top earner is Kalika Power Company Limited.

The Lumbini Development Bank is ranked second. Kalika Power Company Limited has seen a 10% increase in its stock price. Lumbini Development Bank’s stock has increased by 8% in value.
