One killed, three injured in motorcycle crash in Gauradaha Jhapa

An elderly pedestrian was killed in a motorcycle collision in Gauradaha, Jhapa last night. Three persons have been injured.

According to the Area Police Office, Damak, Chet Bahadur Dahal, 72, of Gauradaha-3, died at the LifeLine Hospital in Damak.

The other injured are undergoing treatment at Damak and Biratnagar hospitals, said Deputy Superintendent of Police Nawaraj Karki.

According to the police, Dahal was hit by a motorcycle (PRA101-012PA 5990) on Monday evening.

Mohan Upreti of Gauradaha-3, who was with Dahal, was also injured in the accident. 

The injured have been identified as Bharat Rijal, 28, of Gauradaha-4 and Rabin Poudel, 26, of the same ward.
