Speaking at a meeting of the House of Representatives on Wednesday, Minister for Industry, Commerce and Supplies Dilendra Prasad Badu said, “A policy has been taken to reduce petrol consumption in government bodies by at least 20 percent.”
Minister Badu said that the prices have been adjusted in Nepal as well due to the continuous rise in the international market and the price of petroleum products has also increased in Nepal. He says the price of petroleum products is rising in the international market due to the Russia-Ukraine war.
