Prime Minister KP Oli, who will face a vote of confidence in parliament on April 10, has urged the representatives of his new ally, the Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP), not to cast a vote of confidence and to stay neutral.

According to a source at the Prime Minister’s residence in Baluwatar, PM Oli said this after JSP chief Rajendra Mahat urged him to consider the constitution amendment plan before the vote of confidence.

“I will not force you to vote for me. I would rather urge you to remain neutral,” the source said quoting PM Oli.
