Chairman of the CPN-Maoist Center Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda has expressed confidence that the House of Representatives will be restored.

Addressing a virtual meeting of the Central Committee of the Tamang Rastriya Mukti Morcha Nepal on Tuesday, Prachanda said that the parliament would be reconstituted as it was not dissolved as per the constitution. ‘It is the constitution that the court will ultimately look at. According to the constitution, the parliament has not been dissolved, ‘said Prachanda.

He recalled that the dissolution of the parliament on December 20 was re-established by the Supreme Court.

Stating that the Nepali Congress had shown a shaky character when Prime Minister KP Oli dissolved the parliament on December 20, Prachanda said that the Nepali Congress was not in a dilemma now.

“For the first time, the Nepali Congress was about what it is, now it is about regression,” he said. Upendrajis of Janata Samajwadi Party are also with him. The Madhavjis are also together, the Janamorcha is also with them, ‘said Prachanda.

He urged the leaders and cadres to take note of dissent kept by the Maoists in the Constituent Assembly during the drafting of the constitution to the people.
