Nepali Congress leader Pradip Giri has a small tumor on the left side of his neck.
According to the doctor involved in the treatment, a small tumor was found outside the left neck of the leader who was undergoing treatment at the Hinduja Hospital in Mumbai, India.
The hospital has stated that there is no need to worry as the tumor has not spread anywhere.
Doctors are also conducting other health tests and further treatment will be done after looking at the report.
Congress leader Giri had gone to Mumbai for treatment a year ago due to health problems.
Congress vice president Bimalendra Nidhi had gone to Mumbai on Thursday to meet him.
Nidhi reached the hospital on Friday morning and met Giri.
