The newly appointed chairman of the bank Pratap Jung Pandey has been sworn in at the 362nd meeting of the board of directors of Civil Bank Limited.
Governor of Nepal Rastra Bank Maha Prasad Adhikari administered the oath of office and secrecy to Pandey on Monday.
Taking the oath of office, Chairman Panda expressed his commitment to work with the institutional good governance as the first priority, following the prevailing laws and the directives issued by the Nepal Rastra Bank, expecting the cooperation of all parties to move the bank forward more effectively.
He said that the bank has been making progress in the coming days while maintaining the progress it has been making.
Stating that the bank is always ready for a respectable merger in the interest of all stakeholders of the bank, he said that the bank is open for a merger with other banks or for a respectable merger in the interest of all parties.
