Kathmandu Valley opening

Preparations to open more areas in Kathmandu from Tuesday

Preparations have been made to add the restraining order issued in Kathmandu Valley.

The ban issued earlier is coming to an end on Monday night.

Chief District Officer (CDO) of Lalitpur, Dhundi Prasad Niraula, said that the ban was being extended as the latest new dangerous form of corona virus, Delta Plus, was seen and the infection had not subsided.

He said preparations were being made to extend the ban for another week. However, he said that the issue of opening public transport has not been resolved yet.

The government has already decided to open domestic flights. That is why the administration is under pressure to open public transport.

Chief officials of the three districts of the valley have already implemented the push-pull system in private vehicles and shops have been allowed to open according to the bar.

It is said that more areas will be opened this time.
