Prohibition order lowered in Chitwan

In Chitwan, the ban has been lowered since this week. Earlier, the food shops were open till 9 am and extended till 10 am.

Chief District Officer Premlal Lamichhane informed that textbook shops and shops related to agriculture and fertilizers will also be open till 10 in the morning.

He said that it has been decided to open a book shop for transporting books to schools as the academic session will start from the first week of July.

The restraining order issued earlier in Chitwan from May 29 is coming to an end on Thursday. The provision of a loose restraining order will be implemented from Thursday to July 17 at 12 noon.

Workshops will now be open in Chitwan during the ban.
