Real Madrid was held to a draw

Spanish club Real Madrid and Italian club AC Milan have played a goalless draw in a friendly in the preseason.

Real drew level when David Alava started his first game for Real Madrid.

Real’s Gareth Bale missed a penalty in the game.

Carlo Ancelotti, along with Bell, also played Isco and Luka Jovic in the first selection.

Alava, who has a contract this season, played well in the first half and was replaced by Eder Militiao in the second half.

Real’s goal did not create a great opportunity.

Bell won the penalty but was saved by AC Milan goalkeeper Mick Meganan.

Real Madrid played well overall but did not look good for the goal.
