Recommendation to UML Chairman Thapa of Kailali to take action without even being an ordinary member

July 10, Dhangadhi. CPN-UML Kailali Chairman Ratan Bahadur Thapa has been recommended to take action against even ordinary members.

Secretary Daisy Pandey informed that the district secretariat meeting held on Thursday had recommended to the state committee to take action against Thapa. Pandey says that the state committee will now take action against Thapa based on the recommendation of the district secretariat meeting.

District in-charge Narad Muni Rana had sought a 23-point explanation on June 19, alleging that Thapa had played a role in defeating the UML’s official candidate in the local level election held on April 15.

UML Kailali has stated that action has been recommended against him even after he did not return the answer to the question asked after giving him three days. Thapa, who is also a member of the Far-Western Provincial Assembly from the CPN-UML, defeated another candidate Ran Bahadur Chand by four votes in the district convention held last December.
