The ruling coalition is in discussions to complete the cabinet.

The Council of Ministers has been expanded due to the inability of the leaders of the coalition to finalize the names of the ministers who will participate in the government.

Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba and CPN-Maoist Central Committee Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal are in favor of Prachanda to complete the government.

The meeting of the alliance has started after the dispute over the official status of the Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) was resolved.

Even though the JSP’s formality dispute has been resolved, the CPN-UML’s Madhav Kumar Nepal group has not yet decided whether to join the government.

Leader Nepal has not said openly about joining the government with the expectation that the dispute within the party will be resolved, while Deuba and Prachanda are doing their homework to send leaders including the Nepal faction to the government.

They have been urging the Nepali leader to join the government. The parties affiliated with the alliance have emphasized completing the Council of Ministers by including the Nepal Group.
