SAFF Championship: The Final match of the SAFF is taking place today. Nepal vs India Final match for the title.

Nepal is playing against strong rival India for the title tonight at 8:45 pm at Maldives Football Stadium in Male.

It is not easy for Nepal, which is close to the title for the first time during the 13th edition of the game, to play with India, which has won the title seven times and is the most successful.

India reached the final by winning the league stage while Nepal was the runner-up.

India collected eight points in the group stage with two wins and two draws. Nepal had scored 7 points with 2 wins, one draw, and one loss.

In the previous 22 games, Nepal had lost 14, won 5, and drawn 2 games with India. In the ongoing tournament, India also proved its strength by defeating Nepal 1-0 in the group stage.

Mentioning that the Nepali team coach Kiran Shrestha has entered the final in a historic way, he announced that he will not miss the opportunity and will play to win.

India’s coach Shanmugam Venkatesh said his team would be confident and motivated to defend the title.
