The Sarkegad Area Administration Office, which was set up to serve the citizens of four villages in the southern part of Humla, has started providing services from Sunday after six years.
Citizens of Sarkegad, Changkheli, Adanchuli, and Tanjkot have been granted citizenship since Sunday after the establishment of the Area Administration Office.
The Area Administration Office, which was established in Sarkegad village municipality on Asar 30, 2073 BS, has officially started functioning after six years.
According to the decision of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Article 13 of the Civil Service Act, 2049 BS, Deputy Subba Bhim Bahadur Rokaya has been given the responsibility of working branch officer for six months until the head of the office is present.
Manisha Rawal, a resident of Chankheli Gaonpalika-4, said that she was happy to get citizenship in Sarkegad on Sunday even though she had to walk for three to four days to get the citizenship and other recommendations.
Kamu branch officer Rokaya said that on the first day after assuming office on Sunday, five new ones and two new transcripts were given to seven service recipients.
From now on, you will be able to get services at the Area Administration Office for citizenship, recommendation, passport, and other recommendations said Rokaya.
