Sher Bahadur Deuba to undergo PCR test tomorrow

Following the discovery of coronavirus infection in some of the personnel at the Sher Bahadur Deuba’s official residence in Baluwatar, Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba will undergo a PCR test on Thursday to determine his infection status.

Previously, when PCR tests were performed on security and secretariat officials working at the PM’s house in Baluwatar on Monday, several of the people tested positive for COVID-19.

A member of the Prime Minister’s security team and a member of the Prime Minister’s kitchen staff both tested positive for coronavirus.

Prime Minister Deuba is scheduled to undergo PCR testing on Thursday as he came under contact tracing,” Prime Minister Deuba’s Chief Personal Secretary Bhanu Deuba said on Wednesday, adding that “the Prime Minister is in isolation and has canceled political meetings and official programs for a few days.”
