Badri Pangeni, a well-known name in Nepali Dohori Songs, is celebrating his birthday today. He was born in Nawalparasi. He studied in Palpa. He had passed the SLC examination and entered Kathmandu.

He sang for 6 years in Pukar Dohori Saanjh. 

At that time, he used to sing in the same group with artists like Sharmila Gurung, Shila Ale and Raju Pariyar. 

His first album, Tansen Khasyauli, which has recorded more than five dozen songs, was released. 

He has led the Nepal Dohori Song Foundation. 

He has also won the Best Folk Singer Award.
