Siraha’s extends injunction till July 15

The restraining order has been extended for 16 days in Siraha. 

A meeting of the District Covid-19 Crisis Management Center has decided to extend the injunction till 12 noon on July 15 saying that there is still a risk of corona infection.

Chief District Officer Pradipraj Kanel informed that it has been decided to extend the injunction till June 29 as the risk is not less as the injunction was imposed till 12 noon on July 15.

According to him, a prohibition order has been imposed in the district as per Section 6, Sub-section 3 of the Local Administration Act, 2028 BS and Section 2 of the Infectious Diseases Act, 2020 BS.

However, it has been decided to allow shops and businesses other than salons and hotels to be open from 9 am to 1 pm during the restraining order by maintaining health safety standards, said Kanel. A continuous injunction has been issued in Siraha since May 6.
