Six more people have died in Pokhara as a result of a lack of oxygen, including a postpartum woman.

Three people died in Tahanun, and one person died in each of Myagdi, Syangja, and Parbat.

They died when the high-flow oxygen that was being given to the COVID-19 patient abruptly stopped working.

The patients’ relatives rushed to the oxygen manufacturing industries in search of oxygen, but they were unsuccessful.

According to the hospital administration, six people died in the period between Thursday midnight and 4 a.m. today while receiving treatment at Pokhara Academy of Health Sciences’ isolation ward.
