July 7, Kathmandu. Youth and Sports Minister Maheshwar Gahatraj has bade farewell to 104 pilgrims going for Hajj to Mecca, a holy place of pilgrimage for Muslims. Minister Gahat Raj bade farewell to the pilgrims from different districts at Tribhuvan International Airport on Tuesday morning.
He bade farewell to 104 pilgrims on their way to Mecca for Hajj from his hometown Banke as well as Bardia, Surkhet, Dang and Arghakhanchi. Among the departed are 85 pilgrims from Banke, 5 from Bardiya, 6 from Surkhet, 5 from Dang and 2 from Arghakhanchi.
According to the Nepal Hajj Committee, the pilgrims will reach Mecca via Jeddah International Airport in Saudi Arabia.
