The Supreme Court has issued an interim order not to reduce the natural flow of the Kali Gandaki River.

A single bench of Chief Justice Cholendra Shamsher Jabra has issued an interim order not to divert the natural flow of the Kaligandaki River to create reservoirs, pollute it, extract riverine products, smuggle and destroy Shaligram and do nothing against the natural flow and environment.
