Telecom reduces internet and intranet lease line charges

Kathmandu. Nepal Telecom has reduced the lease connectivity tariff. Telecom has reduced the tariff rate on internet and intranet lease lines by 36 percent with effect from July 1.

Under the internet lease line, the tariff for 1 to 20 Mbps bandwidth will now be only 1,600. Earlier, its tariff was Rs 2,500.

Similarly, the tariff of 21 to 50 Mbps has been reduced from Rs 2,300 to Rs 1,600. The tariff of 51 to 100 Mbps and more than 100 Mbps bandwidth has been fixed at Rs. 1,500. Earlier, the tariff for both Mbps was Rs 2,100 and Rs 1,900 respectively.

Under the intranet lease line, the tariff for 1 to 10 Mbps bandwidth has been reduced from Rs 2,700 to Rs 2,400. Similarly, the price of 11 to 100 Mbps has been reduced from Rs 2,400 to Rs 2,100. More than 100 Mbps was Rs 2,100 but now it is Rs 1,800.
