By modifying the Teachers’ Service Commission’s regulation (TSC), the government has begun measures to reduce procedural impediments in the notice of teacher vacancies in community schools and the teaching license exam.

The proposal for regulation revision was given to the pertinent committee by the Cabinet meeting, according to Minister for Education, Science, and Technology Devendra Poudel. Various operations such as teacher vacancy announcements, internal promotion, and the exam for a teaching license were put on hold for a long time due to the delayed change of the legislation.

The Teachers’ Service Commission has already received the list of 17,047 vacant quotas from the Education and Human Resource Development Centre. The basic level (12,912) has the most openings, followed by the lower secondary (2,593) and secondary level (2,593). (1,542).
