On Tuesday, the Nepal Stock Exchange Ltd (NEPSE) increased by 56.73 points.
With today’s increase, the index now stands at 2415.55 points.
Today, 4.97 million shares of 226 companies were traded, resulting in a Rs 2.38 billion turnover.
Insurance, development banks, manufacturing, trade, and microfinance stocks all rose sharply today.
Only 12 of the 226 companies traded saw their share prices fall.
Himalayan Distillery Company shares worth Rs 140 million were purchased and sold. Today, Green Development Bank’s stock increased by 10%.
Similarly, Janaki Finance and Rasuwagadhi Hydro have increased by more than 9%. Despite the rise in the overall market, Gorkha’s Finance shares have fallen by nearly 9%.
