Tokyo Olympics: Peres Jepchirchir’s gold, Kenya’s happy start this Saturday morning

Kenya’s Peres Jepchirchir won the women’s marathon at the Tokyo Olympics on Saturday morning.

Kenya’s Breed Kosegai came in second and American Molly Saidel came in third. 

In the evening session in athletics, there will be women’s high jump, women’s 10,000-meter race, men’s javelin throw, men’s 1,500-meter race, and women’s and men’s 4×400 meter race.

In baseball, there will be a final game between the United States and Japan. Basketball takes place in the morning session between the United States and France. 

The United States, which lost to France in the first round of the competition, has slowly returned to the rhythm and entered the final.

In men’s volleyball, the pair of Russian Olympic Committee and Norway will meet in the final. In the women’s boxing welterweight, there will be a competition between Turkey’s Surmaneli Busenaz and China’s Gu Hong.

There will be women’s canoe doubles 500 meters, men’s canoe singles 1,000 meters, women’s kayak four 500 meters, and men’s kayak four 500 meters.

Men’s Madison will have a final in cycling. In diving, there will be a men’s 10-meter platform game. The jumping team will be the finalist in the Equestrian.

In men’s football, the final will be between Brazil and Spain. The women’s gold medal will be decided on Saturday. France and Denmark will play in the men’s handball competition.

In karate, women’s over 61 kg and men’s over 75 kg will be played. The men’s medal of the modern pentathlon will also be decided on Saturday.

The rhythmic gymnastics medal will be decided on Saturday in the men’s volleyball competition between France and the Russian Olympic Committee. The title will be contested between the United States and Spain in the women’s water polo event.

In the men’s 65 kg weight category, Okugoru Takuto of Japan and Haji Aliyev of Azerbaijan will compete for the title.

In the men’s 97 kg weight category, the final will be played between Federico Sandier of the United States and Sadulev Abdutar of the Russian Olympic Committee. 

In the women’s 50 kg category, China’s Sun Yanan and Japan’s Yui Susakai will compete.
