Turkey has suffered their second consecutive defeat since Wales won their first match of the Euro Cup 2020. Wales beat Turkey 2-0 in Group A on Wednesday.

Aaron Ramsey and Conor Roberts scored for Wales in the match in Baku, Azerbaijan. Captain Gareth Bale assisted for both goals. But Bell himself could not score from the penalty spot.

Ramsey scored in the 42nd minute to give Wales the lead. Wales were awarded a penalty in the 61st minute after a VAR review, but Bell’s shot went wide of the post. Robert scored in injury time to give Wales a 2-0 victory.

Wales, who drew 1-1 with Switzerland in the first game, have now added four points from two games. This is Turkey’s second consecutive defeat after losing 3-0 to Italy in the first match.

Wales, unbeaten in two games, have strengthened their chances of reaching the knockout stage, while Turkey could be knocked out of the group stage.
