The CPN-UML has set 14 agendas for its central committee meeting starting on Saturday.
In the meeting to be held at Bhaktapur‘s Gattaghar, the formation of the standing committee and politburo, the nomination of central members, and the appointment of leaders will also be determined.
According to Central Office Secretary Sher Bahadur Tamang, the Central Committee meeting will administer the oath of the remaining central members, review the General Convention, form the Central Advisory Council, divide the work of the Central members and nominate the vacant office bearers in the states. Similarly, discussions will be held on district and state conventions, legislative editing and amendment of rules, working procedures, and central office management.
The meeting will also review the message of the General Convention and the party entry campaign and decide on the people’s organization strengthening campaign, said Tamang. The meeting will last for two days. The first meeting of the Central Committee elected from the 10th General Convention held in Chitwan was held on November 30.
