The United States men’s basketball team has won gold at the Olympics for the fourth time in a row. 

The United States won gold by defeating France in the men’s basketball final at the Tokyo Olympics in Japan.

The United States defeated France 87-82 in the final at the Aita Arena on Saturday. The United States, which lost to France in the first match of the tournament, took revenge by winning the final.

The United States took a 22-18 lead in the first quarter of the competition final. The United States took a 22-21 lead in the second quarter and a 27-24 lead in the third quarter to take a 71-63 lead before the final quarter.

Returning in the last quarter, France won the quarter 19-16, but the United States won the game by five points. Captain Kevin Durant top-scored with 29 in the US victory. He scored 6 on the rebound.

This is the 16th gold medal won by the United States in basketball since the Olympics in 1936. The United States, which last finished third at the 2004 Athens Olympics, has won four consecutive gold medals since then.

The United States has won 16 gold, one silver, and two bronze medals in 19 Olympics so far.
