Vaccines donated by China are likely to arrive tomorrow in Nepal

According to government officials, up to 800,000 doses of the one million COVID-19 vaccines donated by China are expected to arrive in Nepal by tomorrow.

During a phone conversation on May 26, Chinese President Xi Jinping pledged 10 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines to Nepal, according to the Prime Minister’s Office and the Council of Ministers.

By Tuesday night, 800,000 million dozes will have arrived in Kathmandu.According to the Prime Minister’s Office, a Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) airbus will fly to Beijing at 11 p.m. today to deliver the vaccine.

According to the Prime Minister’s Office, the NAC airbus will depart Beijing at 10 a.m. and arrive in Kathmandu by Tuesday night.
