He recalled that he was enraged when the car was surrounded, but Amitabh Bachchan, who was at the get-up, grabbed his hand and asked him to remain calm. He also said that Amitabh was an obedient child who was taken care of by his parents in the hospital.
The film Khuda Gawah, released in 1992, was shot in a Mustang. Directed by Mukul Anand, the film starred Amitabh, Deni, Sridevi, Nagarjuna, Shilpa Shirodkar and Kiran Kumar in the lead roles.
Remembering the Mustang filming, Denny said, ‘We were shooting a movie in Mustang, a remote place in Nepal. Hundreds of people surrounded our car at that time. The car was shaking at that time. I became angry. Even though there was no AC in the car, Amitabhji was wearing a turban and a thick beard. He took me by the hand and said, “Sit down, take the heat. If you go out, everyone will know about your getup.”
Danny’s real name is Chiring Pintso, who also sings songs from Nepali films. He has also acted in the movie ‘Seven Years of Tibet’ with Hollywood actor Brad Pitt.
