World Cup League 2: Nepal and Oman are competing in the triangular one-day international series under the ICC Cricket World Cup League-2 today.

The match at the Emirates Cricket Ground will start at 4:15 p.m. Nepal will be aiming for the second consecutive victory against the home team.

Nepal, which won against the USA in the first match, is in high spirits. Nepal had defeated the USA by 5 wickets in Monday’s match.

However, it is not easy for Nepal to win against a strong team Oman. Nepal had played two matches against Oman at home in the Ligue 2 series. Nepal was defeated in both games.

Oman had defeated Nepal by 18 runs in a match played on February 5, 2020, at the TU Cricket Ground. Similarly, Oman had defeated Nepal by 8 wickets in the second match on February 9.

Oman is at the top of League-2. Oman has added 16 points in 10 games. Nepal is in the sixth position with 6 points in 5 games.

The top three nations in World Cup League2 will qualify for the World Cup in Zimbabwe in July 2023.
