Young Scientists Conference in Janakpur from today – Online Khabar

July 9, Kathmandu. The National Youth Scientific Conference, which is being held every year by the National Youth Council, is starting from today in Janakpurdham of Dhanusha. The conference held in State 1 last year has been organized in Madhesh State this year.

The two-day conference will be inaugurated by Madhesh Chief Minister Lal Babu Raut on July 26 and 27 at Hotel Rajdarbar in Muzelia. The conference will be attended by about 150 people from all the seven states.

Executive Vice President of the National Youth Council, Surendra Basnet, informed that the conference was organized with the objective of encouraging the youth in the field of new scientific inventions, research and innovation.

Researcher Tikaram Bhandari, who coordinated the program, said that this time the national conference will be Madhes special. He said, “Despite being a national conference, this year we have focused on local researchers and students working in Madhes.”

Various universities and colleges and activists in the field of research are participating in the conference. The conference will include presentations on agriculture, medicine, science, technology and innovation. Former Minister for Science, Technology and Environment Ganesh Shah will also make a presentation at the conference. He informed that his presentation will be titled ‘Science for Society and New Promotion for Prosperity’.

Bhandari said that there will be a competitive presentation in the junior and junior categories of the high school on Friday. The best junior group will be able to participate in the Asia-Pacific Scientific Conference to be held abroad. Although the conference is to be held in Russia this time, the date has not been fixed due to the Russia-Ukraine conflict.

The conference will be inaugurated by Madhesh Chief Minister Lal Babu Raut this morning. Minister of State for Science and Technology Bodh Maya Yadav, Minister for Women, Children, Youth and Sports of Madhesh Pradesh Virendra Prasad Singh and Secretary at the Ministry of Youth and Sports Dr. Damodar Regmi are participating in the program.
